My name is Ellie and I started this blog when I was “sentenced” to bed rest for the last 4 weeks of my pregnancy. I decided to document my experience, as an outlet for me and to hopefully help out other ladies on bed rest.
On June 25, 2013 our our daughter Isla (eye-lah) was born. Isla had a clean bill of health and we finally got to go home as a family. Four months later, Isla was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension, high blood pressure of the lungs. Left untreated, PH can cause right heart failure and the only known cure for PH is a lung transplant.

Wonderful to follow your story! Our family was chosen to pick out a few xmas gifts for your little princess:) Hope she enjoyed them!!! We have a cousin with CHD and have learned so much about how common it is.always praying for your family!
