Booties in Europe!

Quick update. I might have jinxed myself saying yesterday was uneventful. Last night I guess I was having lots of contractions. I actually didn’t notice but they were getting concerned so they gave me a muscle relaxer which seemed to do the trick. Normally I don’t like taking stuff if I don’t have to, but I will take anything to prevent labor at the moment! The nurses came in and out all night so I didn’t get much sleep. Some friends stopped by today to have lunch with me and Matt. I was able to get off the monitor for a while and take a wheelchair ride outside to eat which was great. It’s a beautiful day out there! I’m back on now and hoping I might get a break in time for when our other friends stop by for dinner. Mum has been in and out today. She basically hangs out with me when she knows nobody else will be here. It’s amazing. Having all of this company is keeping me sane! Anyway, on to something more exciting…

Our good friends left for their honeymoon 2 days before I checked into the hospital. They are feeling like they can’t do too much to help out from so far away, so they came up with a great idea to give both me and Matt some daily entertainment. They bought a pair of booties for babybug and have been taking pictures of the booties during their travels. It will be fun to tell babybug the story behind these well traveled booties! Here are a couple of pictures…
